You qualify if:

- You are registering 5 or more employees at the “NHA Member – Full Conference” or “power producer” registration type

Tour Highlights
Participants on this all-day “bucket list” tour will get to:
- See and hold live salmon at the Cowlitz Salmon Hatchery and learn about fish passage and fisheries programs on the Cowlitz River.
- Stand on top of the tallest dam in Washington State, Mossyrock Dam – 1 foot taller than the Space Needle in Seattle from bedrock!
- Enjoy a picnic lunch at Mossyrock Park just outside the town of Mossyrock, Washington
- Tour Mossyrock Powerhouse, home to two large hydro generators
Irrigation Meets Small Hydro Tour:

Tour Highlights
Participants will see irrigation canals that have been piped, a 1.8-MW conduit hydro plant (Plant 3 owned by Farmers Irrigation District) powered by a Pelton wheel and Kunming generator, and a beautiful orchard in Oregon’s Hood River Valley, supplied with water from the East Fork Irrigation District.
Bonneville Lock and Dam Tour
Tuesday, October 8 | 7 AM to 12 PM | Registrants are Limited to 50 participants | Price: $50
Tour Highlights
The 3-hour tour of the iconic Bonneville project will include visits to the navigation lock, Powerhouse 1, including the powerhouse floor, and the Bradford Island Visitor Center and fish ladder.
4th Annual Tour De NHA Bike Outing at Clean Currents
Join others from the water power industry on a bike ride just before Clean Currents 2024 gets underway. It is a great way to get to know your peers and deepen existing friendships. Riders of all distance appetites are welcome. There will be a 15 mile route and a 35+ mile route, both with very few hills as we ride on bike trails along the Willamette River.
There is no fee to be part of the ride, but you do need to rent or bring your own bike. Bike rental options will be sent to everyone who registers for the ride.

Networking social event for NHA Future Leaders of Waterpower (FLOW) and Young Professionals. Join us for appetizers and drinks and get to know your colleagues across the industry at an offsite bar.

NHA Sunrise Yoga
Take a moment to unwind from your busy week with some sunrise yoga! Lead by Courtney Pare of SWCA who a certified yoga instructor is, take a moment to unwind from your busy week with some vinyasa flow yoga! This session is meant for all levels and will include many options and modifications.

Clean Currents After Dark
CC Central may be closed, but the networking continues! See why Portland is a “foodie” town by trying out different food trucks and craft beers. This relaxed social gathering takes place in a safe and secure outside plaza – right across the street from the entrance to the Convention Center.
This ticketed event is open to all Clean Currents attendees and is hosted by NHA’s Hydropower Technical Community (HTC).
Updating and/or Adding Items to Your Existing Registration

You will need to log in using the email address associated with your registration and your Registrant ID or Confirmation Code (both can be found within your confirmation email, but if you cannot find either, please email registration@hydro.org)
Once logged in, you can edit/update your registration, add items to it, and submit payment via credit card.
Professional Development Hours (PDHs)
Earn meaningful certification for professional development—Clean Currents will offer 13.5 professional development hours (PDHs) to attendees. A certificate will be sent to all attendees after the event.
Pay Later Policy
By selecting the “Pay Later” option at checkout during the online registration process, attendees can register now and pay at a later date. However, all “Pay Later” registrations must be paid in full by October 4, 2024, or the registration will be canceled.
Cancellation Policy
Requests for refunds will be honored only if received by the National Hydropower Association in writing to registration@hydro.org on or before September 13, 2024. A $50 processing fee will apply to all canceled registrations. There will be no refunds for requests received after September 13, 2024. No-shows and onsite registrations are non-refundable.
Substitution Policy
Substitutions are permitted and must be submitted in writing to registration@hydro.org. Please include the original attendee’s name and the substitute’s full contact information.
